What I am made of
Id est, what I do, what my interests are, and what my studies and projects focus on.
Biotechnology
Biomedical, genetic, and environmental engineering as well as agritechnology.
What I study
I am currently in the midst of finalising my degree in chemistry and material science. As minor subjects, I have studied both microbiology and bioinformation technology.
Intra- and extracurricular projects

Predicting soybean yields from early season weather
Ridge and logistic regression trained on April–July weather, soil moisture and vegetation data to predict county-level soybean yields in the US.

Combustion synthesis of a Y₂O₃:Eu³⁺ phosphor
A red-emitting europium-doped yttrium oxide phosphor made by urea combustion synthesis and checked with titration, XRD and UV light.
Anisotropic fracture of silicon wafers
Two silicon wafers broken with a nail, and the crystallography needed to tell which one was {111} and which was {100}.
